Qaiser practices at the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute (KNI) at UK HealthCare and serves as director of the new Children & Young Adult Headache and Research Program, the only multidisciplinary headache clinic in the region focused on children, teenagers and young adults ages 25 and younger. Qaiser’s clinical focus and personal passion is treating headaches in children and young adults through a multidisciplinary approach. He is a prolific researcher and has been published in multiple journals. Personal Statment “Our headache clinic works on the philosophy of teaching and listening. My patients have told me that they have been treated and prescribed medicines, but they’ve not always felt listened to. At our clinic, we do not only treat ailments, but we provide education. Children and adolescents feel more empowered when they have a better understanding of their disease.”
