Dr. Steve-Felix Belinga is originally from Cameroon (Central Africa) and earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine, in St. Louis, MO after undergraduate studies in Atlanta, GA. During his tenure at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Belinga’s clinical interests and research focused on Stroke Trials and Inpatient Stroke Alerts. After graduation, he relocated to Arkansas and serves as Medical Director for Neurology at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith. Dr. Belinga’s long-term professional goal is to improve training experiences through a residency exchange program between academic centers in the United States and Cameroon. He plans to launch The Belinga Foundation at the end of 2012 to promote Education, Art, & Culture. In his free time, Dr. Belinga enjoys studying ancient civilizations and spending time with his wife and son.
