Personal Statement

Dr. Nawaz Hack is a recent graduate from the University of Kentucky’s College of Medicine, Department of Neurology.  Nawaz became interested in Movement Disorders after an opportunity to attend a course at The University of Vanderbilt and working with Drs. John Slevin and Franca Cambi in their movement disorders clinic at the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute.  Dr. Hack’s future plans include a movement disorders fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.  He then plans to return to his native country of Guyana to develop  a neurology training program at the University of Guyana.  Dr. Hack loves to walk the Arboretum, enjoy the scenic campus view, and spending time with friends he met during his travels around the United States.
