Personal Statement

Dr. Thakkar plans to pursue a career in academic neuro-oncology following residency. After obtaining her medical degree, she worked extensively in oncology clinics/research and was a part of the University of Kentucky's Brain Tumor Center where she made significant contributions to neuro-oncology research. 

In her free time she enjoys biking, cooking, watching movies and spending time with her family.
